I started drawing some stuff, and I decided to draw Kath. Well, I also thought of people asking me: How do you draw girls? Well I took the moment to lightly do a small tips tutorial for ya =3

I wrote some pointers for ya on the sheet, but I'll rewrite with some more detail here:
This is an edit: Actually, in Anime, you don't have to do the shoulders thing. Just as long as the head is natural. Usually necks are thin and shoulder's aren't so wide =3

Necks should be thiner than males obviously, unless your making like a big muscular lady o_O;

Tails don not come out from the butt (how will they have surprise buttsechs? XD ) They come from the back, the spinal cord.

Animal ears come at a 45˚ angle on the head.

Face and hair are details that come last. Figure out the pose and apparel before anything

Fingers and hands are very complicated. If you don't like having those round stubby fingers, you could always add pints on the tips as a way to show claws or nails.

Breasts seem to be a problem. First off:
-They have an arc like thing on top. They have shape ppl

-Breasts define character. Kath here is somewhat of a Femme fatale, and is naturally voluptuous (Voluptuous - n- Having sensual qualities or having a large bosom and hip and butt size. ) if your making a shy character, its not suggested to give her a large bosom size. Rather, make it small to divert people eyes from her chest to her cute face or personality

-Breasts aren't circles. And depending on what your character is wearing, the cam vary in shape and size.

Hips are also problems. Ok, Hips are not huge. If at anything they should about or close to the size of your character's bosom size. They're curvy, and yes, not hard.

Torso ( stomach and such ) also has curves. There nos uch thing as a square waist. Unless your aiming for that, the torso has curves. Don't be afraid to add a bit spice on it. But try to stick as close to real anatomy as possible, unless your doing certain styles.

Just one more thing:
I got this pose from pixel doll bases. Posing can be complicated. So if you ever need hep with posing, you can do a basic skeleton which I don't I just draw it out ) or you can go to some sites:

Look at pixelated dolls. the come in several poses, and helps in improving at anatomy

Search dA:
On dA there a lot of tut's on anatomy. Search some tutorials. Also, just looks at pictures and poses to get a good idea. Just manipulate to fit you and stuff 83
